Gender Equality in Law Campaign
GELC is a pan-African initiative that calls on legal institutions to commit to gender equality through concrete actions. The campaign mobilizes bar associations, judiciaries, law schools, and civil society to adopt policies, track progress, and create lasting change in the legal profession.
Advocacy
We advocate for gender equality in law by engaging policymakers, building strategic alliances, and amplifying women’s voices in legal reform. Our advocacy has included initiatives like the Gender Equality in Law Campaign (GELC) and pushing for the adoption of our Model Policy on Gender Equality across legal institutions in Africa.
