What We Do
IAWL advances gender justice by conducting impactful research, providing training and mentorship, advocating for equality, and nurturing women’s leadership in law.
We provide expert guidance to legal institutions, governments, and organizations to advance gender equality and inclusive legal reform.

The Gender Equality in Law Model Policy is a framework to promote gender equality in the legal profession. Organizations can adopt and implement the policy.

"A male ally is a man who has decided to join the movement for equality and is making that push with women. And we do quite a number of things, starting from wherever you are, as much as possible, set the systems in place to ensure that you are living what you preach and that advocacy, equality and equity work in that environment."
